In other news...

I'm secretly a Dixie Chicks fan.

Dean's got some great lines, but I think I like this one the best:
"The reason the Democrats haven't done well is that we're so busy being Bush Lite. You have to take strong stands and defend them."
Let's face it, American politics needs more sly references to cheap beer.(Democratic presidential hopefuls take turns picking apart administration's foreign policy)

It looks like Halle Berry is a top contender for the title role in a new Catwoman movie. Man, Michelle Pfeiffer was so hot when I was 12.

The whole "We can make Iraq a democracy and the rest of the Middle East will follow, muahaha!" theory is bullshit. But you already knew it was bullshit - after all, Bush did say it.

Is someone else watching Serbia? What's going on over there? Somebody fill me in. I'm too busy worrying about the baggage retrieval system they've got at Heathrow.

Is war with Iraq legal? Of course not, without Security Council authorization. But it doesn't matter, because there's "No controlling legal authority." Really, who can make the U.S. obey the law? In other words:
Nute Gunray: Ahhh, My Lord, is that... legal?
Darth Sidious: I will make it legal.

In case you were worried about the Partial Birth Abortion Bill, it doesn't matter one way or the other. The Republicans and the Democrats pass crap laws that either A) Do nothing or B) Will be overturned so that they can fire up the donor base. Having a good abortion fight every couple of years brings in the cash flow.

Which foreign minister of the five permanent member of the security council would win in a royal rumble? Eh, I just checked out their biographies. Powell would win in like 2 minutes.

You should check out everything2.com every day. It never fails to show me something cool.

And that cat business from last night is no joke. I've got to take care of Drew's cat for a week. And the cat has no tail. And special thanks to Kevin Drum for making it ok to talk about cats on political weblogs.
