Day of the Quote:

"The head of the UN nuclear agency declares reports of uranium imported into Iraq from Niger are fake.

It's getting to the point where I'm not sure if Iraq actually exists, or it's actually just a huge set piece in the Mojave Desert."
- jesse of http://www.pandagon.net/

In other news, Iran and North Korea are getting their war on. As many others have already pointed out - Bush's cowboy talk seems to have pushed these countries into a frantic rush to "Go Nuclear" so that we can't fuck with 'em. Wasn't it cool when we had a President other countries respected?

"Never get involved in a land war in Asia".
- Vizzini, The Princess Bride

Just a word of warning to Bush and Blair.

"Although it is true that not all conservatives are stupid, it is true that most stupid people are conservative."
- John Stuart Mill

I didn't say it, he did. Oh, and did you know that the higher your education level, the more likely you are to vote Democratic? True story. (Well, the poorer you are the more likely you are to vote Democratic too, and sometimes those two factors are at odds. But it's generally true.)

Chris Matthews: [ chuckling ] Wow! I gotta say, Tin-Tin, I like your style! Douglas Feith! North Korea, by all accounts, poses a larger threat! Why go after Iraq first?!

Douglas Feith: Well, I think it's pretty logical, Chris. We're doing it alphabetically.

Chris Matthews: Uh-huh..

Douglas Feith: Afghanistan.. Iraq.. North Korea.. next will be Puerto Rico.. then, Sweden. We're hoping to finish up with Zimbabwe by 2006.

That's from Saturday Night Live, I suggest you read the whole transcript, it's hilarious.

More quotes later, if I'm feelin' spunky.
