Dean's Grass-Roots Cash CowHoward Dean has issued a virtual rebuke to Democrats who can't stop complaining about how difficult it will be to raise money under the reformed campaign finance system.
The message: Don't whine. Organize. While political strategists keep wondering how they can raise money like Dean, they're missing a larger point. A candidate who raises mainly small donations from lots of people is free to act in the public interest, while still being viable.
